Job Description
Britespan Building Systems of Ontario is hiring full-time permanent steel framers in Wingham, Ontario.

Work setting: Construction and industrial work. Work must be completed on site at the physical location; there is no remote work option.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Work site environment: at heights, noisy, dusty, and physically demanding.

Additional Skills
Carpentry and industrial construction experience are important.
